Kellie from Booth Learning and Development:
- Listening – use for own benefit
- Did you know that you when you hear, you use your neurological functions, when you listen you use your brain.
- By developing your listening skills you can process sounds better and become a better speaker
- To assist you and energize yourself you should complete chants, or hum, or sing before a meeting to reenergize yourself
- It takes life times to get chants down pat. Monks spend the first 40 years learning and mastering their chants, and even then they are known not to have “mastered the art”.
Classical music, especially Mozart can help in the background whilst you work or study.
Reading out loud to yourself with expression can also help your listening skills. - If you would like to purchase any MP3 or CDs on Chants or music, please see Kellie.
